Josie & Ben Get Married! (Portraits)

As promised, here is the posting of the portraits from Josie & Ben's beautiful wedding. I couldn't be more pleased with how all of these turned out. There were so many great photos, so it was really hard to pick my favorites! The first photos are my favorites of Josie & Ben together. They are such a photogenic couple!

Before the wedding there was a one hour portrait 

session of Josie and her side of the family and 

her bridesmaids. Here are the photos from that hour.

After I shot Josie's side of the family in the morning, 

I then did another hour with Ben and all the guys. 

Here are some from that hour of photography.

Later after the ceremony, we took the whole bridal 

party out to get some shots. These are my favorites.

Congratulations Ben & Josie! May you have many

Josie & Ben Get Married! (Details, Ceremony & Reception)

There is much to say about this happy couple that I had the honor of photographing on June 18th at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. They planned their wedding long distance (she was finishing school in South Carolina and he is in the Army is upstate New York and the wedding took place in Central Pennsylvania. Her parents now live in Texas and the bride's family grew up in New Jersey). Everyone traveled quite a distance to be a part of their happy day and what a day it was. It was cooler on that summer day than it had been which was a welcome surprise. The sky was a perfect blue and the wedding coordinator helped make the most picturesque setting at both the chapel and the reception which took place at a close family friend's farm under a big white tent. This post is all about the details, setting, the ceremony and later the fun at the reception.

Then on to the wedding, which took place at 

the U.S. Army War College Memorial Chapel.

 I love the details on the back of Josie's gown.

the ceremony. What a gorgeous voice!

 After the receiving line, Ben & Josie 

exited the chapel through a sea of bubbles.

 Then we took a beautiful drive out in to the country 

to where the reception took place. This precious 

sign welcomed the guests to the party.

 The details were amazing. Loved all the romantic touches!

 I loved the candy buffet and so did all the guests!

The cake was made by the Holland American Bakery 

and delivered from Sussex, New Jersey.

Then they smashed it all over each other's faces. I 

grabbed this cute shot of the two with cake all over their faces.

Baby Shower

Here are some photos from a baby shower I photographed recently. The first photo is my absolute favorite!
