On July 12th, my husband and I went to visit with my extended family in Northern Virginia for the baby shower of my paternal cousin, Mandi. She and her husband Danny were expecting their first child, a baby girl, in October but she was probably going to come early so I did the maternity portraits while I was there (though it is usually best to do maternity portraits just a few weeks before the due date). We did a 30 minute maternity portrait session at their home and a nearby park. We also took a family portrait with their two dogs before the baby's arrival as well as a few photos of each dog individually. Now on to the photos!
