Danny & Michelle Get Married! : Ceremony

On July 25th I had the pleasure of photographing another wedding that my husband was related to the groom (that's 2 this summer)! Danny and my husband grew up going fishing and doing "guy" stuff together. This is the 2nd marriage for both but for sure the 2nd time around is so much sweeter for this happy couple. We were all so excited when Danny found Michelle. They are a perfect fit and they have started a wonderful life together. Congrats to you both! This is the first of several blog entries (because their wedding was just chocked full of wonderful photo opportunities). They got married in the small town of Kittanning (located outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania). The first photo is of the beautiful Episcopal church were the ceremony took place.Michelle's father walking her down the long aisle as everyone looked on.
Michelle's father giving her away at the front of the church.

The minister blessed the marriage.
While a beautiful song was played on the piano,
Danny & Michelle went to light the unity candle.
Going to the table to light the unity candle was
bittersweet for Michelle, who had placed a photo of her
twin sister (who recently passed away) there in her honor.
The kissAfter the ceremony, everyone went outside so
Danny and Michelle could release doves. I had
personally never seen a couple do it, so it was
a nice special touch!

Keep checking back for more entries to come!
